BOAN proposes 2:1 Right Shares

The 51st BOD meeting of the 22nd Commercial bank of Nepal (Bank of AsiaNepal Limited) scheduled on 7th December 2009 (2066 Mangsir 22) has decided to propose 2:1 right share to its shareholders, stated the press released by the bank. The proposal will be submitted to the bank’s upcoming second annual general meeting (20th Poush 2066) for approval. Earlier, the 47th BOD meeting of the bank dated on 30 August 2009 (2066 Bhadra 14) has decided to provide 5% cash dividend from the profit of fiscal year 2065/66 after approval from Bank’s upcoming AGM and NRB.

According to fourth quarter financial report of the bank, it has earned Rs. 61.510 millions net profit and Rs. 94.826 millions operating profit. The bank has Rs. 1 billion paid up capital and Rs. 65.972 millions in its reserve and surplus. Borrowings of bank stand at Rs. 1.409 billions and have deposits of Rs. 8.875 billions. NPL to total loan is 0.01% and total loan loss provision to NPL is 18364.92 percent.
