Citizen Bank AGM on 15 September 2009 – 1:1 Right Share & 10% Dividend

After SCB, the BOD meeting of Citizen Bank International Ltd proposed 1:1 Right Share to increase its paid up capital to meet 2 Billion Rupees Criteria. The 57th BOD meeting took place on 18th Aug, 2009 and proposed 1:1 Right Share for this fiscal year. The Bank had already declared 10% dividend for this year’s profit which bank made on its 56th BOD meeting.

The above decision would definitely bring some vigor in the market. CZBIL share price might rise to some extent due to above proposal. For the propose of having its AGM, the bank is closing its book from 10-30 Bhadra 2066 (26th August to 15th September, 2009) and only those shareholders will got an opportunity to take part in AGM who purchased the share before 2066 Bhadra 9 and appeared on share registrar before Bhadra 17 2066.
