NCC sign agreement
Published by Octron on August 12, 2009
Nepal Credit and Commerce (NCC) Bank and Doha Bank Tuesday signed an agreement on remittance business. This agreement was signed to make it easier for Nepali workers in Qatar to send back money to their families in Nepal. According to the agreement, consumers can open accounts in any of the 40 branches of Doha Bank for free.
They can send money to their families in Nepal through e-remittance from Doha, says a statement issued by NCC Bank. NCC is the only bank to introduce such a remittance service with Qatar’s largest bank. The bank earned a net profit of Rs. 570.4 million during the last fiscal year which is 47 percent higher than in the previous year.
